The new handwheel HKB "with click" has a momentary pushbutton function in the axial direction. If the handwheel shaft is pushed, there is a signal on the output OUT that can be polled by a control system. As a result the HKB with momentary pushbutton function is excellently suited, e.g. to use for confirming reference points on a machine or selecting menu commands on a graphical user interface.

As the rotation pulses can be transmitted separately, you can press and turn at the same time, for instance to select several values or a range.

Of course the HKB "with click" offers all the advantages of a handwheel with magnetic detent mechanism and combines compact dimensions, minimum weight and small installation depth. This ensures maximum design flexibility.

The HKB can be used in flat machine panels and small, light hand-held pendant stations. It is ideal for menu prompts or accepting values set using the handwheel.

The handwheel has 100 detent positions per revolution. The detent is practically wear-free. Different circuit outputs are available for all current controllers.
