Escape release

The safety system MGB can be complemented by an escape release module. The escape release enables people locked in to open the locked safety guard from inside the danger area.

  • The insertion funnel for TP can only be used in conjunction with an actuator with long overtravel

Latch spring

Latch spring, offers an increased retention force of approx. 30 N for safety switches NP and GP or TP in unlocked condition. May only be used in conjunction with the straight actuator with rubber bush (Order No. 070 046).

Lock

The lock is used in combination with safety switch TP/STP. The mechanical key release enables authorized personnel to actuate the mechanical release using the related key. The unlocking mechanism holds the solenoid in the "unlocked" position. Two screws are used to fix the lock to the cover of the safety switch TP/STP (above the mechanical release).

  • Order safety switch TP/STP separately
  • 2 keys are supplied
  • Every safety switch of the series TP/STP can be upgraded to include a lock

Mechanical key release

The mechanical key release is used in conjunction with the read head CET. It enables authorized personnel to actuate the mechanical release using the related key. The unlocking mechanism holds the solenoid in the "unlocked" position. A screw is used to fix the lock to the cover of the read head CET (over the mechanical release). The lock is identical locking.

  • Order read head CET separately
  • 2 keys are supplied
  • Every read head in the CET series can be upgraded with the mechanical key release

Release

Protective plate

Optimal protection against tampering on safety switches with separate actuator (NZ.VZ and TZ). The protective plate prevents modification of the switch via the actuator outlet opening.

Cover

Built-in LED

The built-in LED is suitable for direct installation in one of the M20 x 1.5 threads for the three cable entries on the rope pull switch RPS and the safety switches GP/TP/STP. The built-in LED indicates to the operator whether the switch is actuated or not. The switching element can be wired individually. Operating voltage DC 24 V +10%, -15%.

Accessories, mobile hand-held terminal MHT-G2

The mobile hand-held terminal MHT-G2 makes it possible to read and write data carriers in the system families CIS and EKS from EUCHNER independent of location.

The mobile hand-held terminal with push-on read/write head supplements the EUCHNER ident systems CIS. The device is equipped with a compact, removable read/write head. To achieve even more flexibility in use, the read/write head can be connected to the hand-held terminal via an optionally available spiral cable (order no. 071 759). The robust, splash-proof design (IP 54) guarantees correct function even in difficult conditions in a harsh, industrial environment.

+Emergency unlocking for read head CET

Emergency unlocking

Using the emergency unlocking the read head can be unlocked manually. In the locked position of the emergency unlocking, a ball detent mechanism prevents unintentional unlocking of the read head due to vibration or similar. In the unlocked position of the emergency unlocking, an integrated bolt engages in a hole in the flange. To reset the emergency unlocking, first the bolt must be pressed inwards, out of the detent mechanism, using a tool.
