Product description

The Electronic-Key-Manager (EKM) is a software package for writing and managing the Electronic-Keys on the PC. All Electronic-Keys and their contents are managed in a central database. The freely programmable memory on the Electronic-Key can be allocated to the specific database fields. The database fields and the screen interface for entering the data can be configured as required. Write and read rights can be granted through user management. EKM can also be integrated into an existing EKS environment. All versions include:

• Database import/export function in csv format
• Example databases that can be edited
• Software and documentation in German and English

Application is supported by this ActiveX^® module. EKS can thus be used, e. g., in conjunction with process visualization software. Data communication takes place using the TCP/IP protocol. The ActiveX^® module is used here as a protocol driver.

With the aid of the EKS Ethernet ActiveX^® module, communication can be straightforwardly established with the EUCHNER Electronic-Key System (EKS) from programming environments that support ActiveX (e. g. Microsoft Visual Basic^®) or user programs (e. g. Microsoft Excel^®). For this purpose the ActiveX^® module must be installed and integrated into the related programming environment.

Product description

The software is required for programming the EUCHNER safety monitors. All safety monitors can be programmed with the same software. A Windows ®-equipped PC is required. All Safety at Work manuals in various languages are included on the CD. A cable set SFM or the cable SMO-GMO is required to connect the PC. The cable set SFM includes a transfer cable for direct read-out from monitor to monitor.
