Latching in open position
Detent mechanism in open position
The detent mechanism in the open position is designed to prevent people from locking themselves inside a machine. The bolt slide is locked in the detent positions. Unlock by pressing the detent knob.
Escape release
Bolts with escape release feature an escape lever enabling the bolt to be opened from inside a guard.
Latching in closed position
Bolt latches in closed position and prevents unintentional opening of the bolt. Ball or spring detent mechanisms are opened by overcoming the spring force.

Integrated lockout bar
