When space is tight - the new CES-FD-AP field evaluation unit
The new product CES-FD-AP from EUCHNER is a small and compact field evaluation unit for connecting external transponder coded read heads CES. The system is used for monitoring movable guards or moving machine parts where space is limited.
The CES-A-LMN read head with M12 thread has small dimensions and can be connected directly to the field evaluation unit. The dates are evaluated directly in the field, so no space is required in the control cabinet.
The new CES-FD-AP has two LED indicators for the status display, which warrant fast diagnostics. In addition, the field evaluation unit enables the read head's limit range to be displayed. This allows a possible misalignment of the read head or actuator to be detected and rectified in good time.
Connecting the CES-FD-AP is very quick and easy thanks to the plug connector(s). A direct connection to a decentralized peripheral device such as the SIMATIC ET200pro or ET200s is also possible. The complete system meets the highest requirements of EN ISO 13849-1 with Cat. 4/PLe.
The small design of the housing and the robust design of the CES-FD-AP as well as the high degree of protection IP 67 enable use in very harsh environments and space-saving mounting; assembly in the field.
