“Integrated Industry – Industrial Intelligence” – this year’s Hannover Messe trade show was all about Industry 4.0.
A total of 6,500 exhibitors from 75 countries presented their new products, components, systems and solutions. EUCHNER GmbH + Co. KG, based in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, was one of the 500 attending medium-sized companies from Baden-Württemberg.
The company has specialized in innovations for over 65 years, and the safety engineering expert introduced its latest innovation at the Hannover Messe: the transponder-coded door locking mechanism CTM. It is specially designed for the use with small and lightweight doors and flaps.
Industry 4.0 is becoming increasingly important in industrial safety engineering as well. The CTM accommodates this trend with its intelligent communication capabilities, offering features including convenient series connection and data transfer to higher-level control systems.
Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg Winfried Kretschmann did not miss the opportunity to visit EUCHNER’s stand to learn about future industrial trends from this highly innovative company. Speaking with CEO Stefan Euchner, Kretschmann emphasized the importance of the medium-sized companies representing Baden-Württemberg. He called them the decisive force that could change the country.
“EUCHNER is attending the Hannover Messe as a family-owned company from Baden-Württemberg that has followed its tradition by taking an innovative, bold step into the future,” praised Kretschmann. “I’m pleased and proud of EUCHNER’s success with its industrial safety engineering innovations in Baden-Württemberg and throughout the world,” he emphasized.
Stefan Euchner was highly satisfied with how the world’s most important industrial trade show turned out. He said that the EUCHNER GmbH + Co. KG impressed numerous trade show visitors with its custom products while always keeping one aspect first and foremost in mind: safety for people, machines and products.
