  • Two safe semiconductor outputs
  • Own clocking for short circuit monitoring
  • High protection against tampering
  • Category 4 / PL e according to EN ISO 13849-1
  • Connection via M12 plug connector(s)
  • Cable lengths up to 200 m permissible
  • Diagnostics via LED
With the CES-BP, transponder technology is available for protecting the smallest doors and covers. The small design of the actuator and switch enables easy mounting; assembly on the safety guards.

Design and mode of operation

The CES-BP safety switch has two safety outputs. The outputs are connected directly to drives, downstream safety relays or safety control systems. Monitoring for short circuits is realized via pulsed signals from the switch itself. External clock signals are therefore not required.

Display for actuators in the limit range

If the safety door with the actuator settles over time, the actuator may move out of the actuating range of the read head. The device recognizes this and indicates that the actuator is in the limit range. The safety door can thus be readjusted in good time.

Connection to safety control systems or safety relays

The BP system family is designed for separate operation. The devices are particularly suitable for connection to safety evaluation units and safety controls that require short test pulses. Some versions have been optimized for direct connection to decentralized peripheral systems, such as ET200pro from SIEMENS. For short circuit monitoring, the BP devices generate test pulses at the safety outputs. The low wiring work required makes BP devices a cost-effective solution.
